Taman Botani Activities

Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam (TBNSA) is an area of forests combined with plantations/botanical gardens that lies towards the north of Shah Alam city. The place also goes by the name of Bukit Cahaya Sri Alam, while the forest reserve itself is named Bukit Cerakah Forest Reserv
The concept of nature and strategic view could be one of the people interest to have a relaxation indeed.

Although the forest is located in such as hills and mountain but It is not that tough to discover this nature habitation as it just stationed in U11
It imposes RM 3 ringgit pre enter to have a trip to a few destinations. It also provides free buses that allow visitors to have a quick observation before concentrate to any activities that bukit cherah will recommend. However the transportation is close during Monday and Friday.

For those who love leisure activities, they could have cycling hills through curve roads. They introduce bicycle rents that cost RM 10 per hour and extra RM1 for every additional hour each.
The best part is they have specific land mark for cyclists to have a break called “bicycle corner”. It is such a beautiful spot cover by flowers around.

Another one of the adventures activities is skytrek. This activities offer many games like Big thill, Little Adventure and Extreme Challenge that cost between 35- 50 Ringgit Malaysia. They could join any games that have been offered for instance flying fox and jump over tree.
Unfortunately, not all categories could join to this challenge games because there is  weight and height restriction for the activities. All participants are not more than 100 kg and are not less than 140 cm tall are not allowed to join the sport.

Besides that, taman botani also have mini zoo which had expose to people about animal habitats. They introduced deer, horses, hedgehog, birds, and goose. These animals have their own time management. They are being feed same as human being. There will be breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Muhammad Safizal bin Abdullah said this area is suitable for those who prefer peaceful environment with animals  rather than busy city in shah alam. The 38 year old also mention this place is good hobby to observe those beautiful animals through eyes and smell. 

Sound that Bukit Cherakah has entirely interesting activities to visit. Nonetheless, there are a few areas are under reconstructions due to few problems happen.
For instance, Four Season Temperate Garden had to be shut down to transform winter climate to spring. It takes few weeks to alter the house and expected to be open this April.

Fishing and kayak also are not being allowed as whole lakes were polluted. “The ministry of agriculture and agro-based industry Malaysia (MOA) had thrown command to clean up the lakes as soon as possible.” said Marina Hila binti Idris one of the public services assistant.
