Bukit Cherakah

Shah Alam: National Botanical Gardens or Bukit Cherakah is one of the park that was built to attract tourists either within or outside the country. The park was built in 1986 and was inaugurated by the late Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj son Hisamuddin Alam Shah Al-Haj in 1991. It is located in section 8, Shah Alam. Various facilities available in the park, which is a facility for cycling in the park, the bus carrying tourists, cafes and much more.


 In addition, the park provides a range of activities such as cycling around the garden, Skytrek, Flyfishing and a pool for swimming. 

Cycling in Bukit Cherakah is encouraged. When cycling, you can see the contents of the content contained in Bukit Cherakah. It includes lakes, dams, animal parks and so on. Moreover, in terms of health, cycling can be good for health. Accordingly, the Botanical Garden is also preparing a swimming pool. It is for visitors who want a peaceful atmosphere while accompanied by the chirping of birds.


Flyfishing is not left behind. It is also one of the attractions among the visitors. For those who enjoy fishing, they can come here to spend their leisure time.

Although she Botanical Gardens, activities such as Sky Trek is the most favoured among the visitors, especially schoolchildren or university either outside or in Shah Alam. It is an adventurous activity, the mental strength and can cast fear among the students.
Apart from these activities, Bukit Cherakah provide an animal park. There are animals such as porcupines, deer, birds, horses and many more. The animals can be fed and very tame
